Registered members

We collect and store profile information regarding the member, their family and their HelpingHero Teams as input by the member and as defined in the registration and similar forms on the site. The collection of this information is required in order to deliver the HelpingHero services.

We also collect personally identifiable information that our member users divulge about other people such as their email address and names in order to perform the HelpingHero services. We use the personal data collected solely to process the invitation and shall not use it for any other purposes. Please note that the following personal data is displayed to the recipient of the invitation: name and email address.

HelpingHero does not actively market to children, and we never knowingly ask a child under 13 to divulge personal information.

In general we do not verify the accuracy of registered member information and rely upon the member to keep this information accurate.

After you have logged into HelpingHero with your user name and password, we use cookies in order to identify you during the course of your session. One cookie will be stored on your computer. Upon the termination of your session the cookie will be automatically deleted. You may maintain this cookie on your computer for an automatic login to subsequent sessions by activating the function: "Login automatically on this computer". Any so maintained cookie contains part of your login data in encrypted form.

All visitors

We collect information regarding general visitor behaviour on the website through automatic logging files. Information collected includes

  • The name and IP address of the computer which requests the relevant page of the website (the so called "remote host computer"),
  • The time, status, and amount of the transferred data, as well as the Internet website from which you have reached the demanded page of the HelpingHero (the so called "referrer"),
  • The product and release information of your Internet browser (the so called "user agent").

This log file will be stored in the standardised "combined" log file format of the webserver. The data in this log file in anonymous without reference to your person for statistical purposes. In storing this data, we may analyze on which days and at which time the HelpingHero are particularly frequented and how much data volume is created on the HelpingHero website.

Further, by using the log file, we can identify certain defects of the website, such as defective hyperlinks or program defects, and thus continuously improve the quality of the services. We do not attribute the website demands stored in the log file to specific users. However, we reserve the right to review the log files via the last known IP address of a member of whom we have reasonable cause to believe uses the services in breach of the contractual agreements or applicable law. Part II. Information Usage.

The information collected by HelpingHero will be used to deliver the HelpingHero services.

The information is not sold to, shared or rented to third party organisations for any purposes other than explicitly listed here.

We may share data with third party credit card companies. These companies use the information solely to authorise payment on our member’s behalf. We do not store member credit card details except for the short time required to perform the actual transaction.

Registered members may receive additional announcements from us about products, services, special deals, and a newsletter. Out of respect for the privacy of our users we present the option to not receive these types of communications.

The information we collect will not be used to create personal member profiles based on browsing or purchasing history. We will not supplement information collected at our Web site with data from other sources.

We offer links to other Web sites. Please note that when you click on links to other Web sites, we encourage you to read their privacy policies. Their standards may differ from ours.

If our policy on information collection or uses changes, we will advise you by posting those changes on this page.

Part III. Access to Information

HelpingHero expects registered members to maintain the accuracy of their own information. Users may access their own personal information and update it as required using the website. If they are unable to do this they can contact us about inaccuracies they may find using our contact details. Users may delete their information from our database by requesting use to perform this task.

If problems arise, users may contact HelpingHero using the details on the contact us page of this website. We are committed to resolving disputes.

HelpingHero protects user information with a range of security measures including the use of secure servers, firewalls, SSL encryption for financial transactions and other technology and procedures used to protect consumer privacy.
