This is a glossary of common terms in HelpingHero.

Accepted

A service request where a member has confirmed that they will perform the task.

Due

A service request that has been accepted by a member and should by now have been performed.  That is the date and time for the service request is in the past.

Events

Events are similar to Service Requests except that they offer the ability to group  several different service requests under one Event.  Events can also include  invites to attend for members that are not included in a service request.

Event can be used for a variety of function: birthday parties, BBQ's, etc.  Any event where you want to invite the members of your team but you also want to have a service (or services) performed.

Refused

A service request where the member has determined that they will not perform the task.

Requested

A service request that has been requested but no member has as yet confirmed that they will perform the task.

Service Request

A service request is the basic swapping system for HelpingHero.  It creates a service item that you can request other members of your team perform for you.  It also includes the processes for confirming completion of the service request.
