Volunteer teams can be linked to a volunteer organisation to enable central management of teams and tasks for volunteer organisations. Creating the link is simple and can be done by the Team Owner.
Note that only Volunteer Teams can be connected to Volunteer Organisations.
Requesting a Link
| 1. | To request a link simply go to the the My Team / Team Overview page and scroll down to the Related Volunteer Organisation section. Select the highlighted link. |

| 2. | Enter the Organisation Code for the volunteer organisation you would like to link to and select the "Validate Organisation Code" button. If you do not know the organisation code ask your Volunteer Organisation contact or use the Company Directory to search for the code. |

| 3. | Once the code is validated you will be able to add some explanatory comments and request the link. A message will be sent to all of the administrator staff for the Volunteer Organisation and they will be able to approve your request. |

| When the request is approved you will receive and email and the information on My Teams / Related Volunteer Organisation section will be updated. |
Breaking a Link
As Team Owner you can also break the link with the Volunteer Organisation. To do so simply follow these steps.
| 1. | To request a link simply go to the the My Team / Team Overview page and scroll down to the Related Volunteer Organisation section. Select the highlighted link to be taken to the link information. |

| 2. | To break the link enter some comments in the text box and select the "Break Volunteer Organisation Link" button. The link with the volunteer organisation will be broken immediately and they will be notified with a message including your comments. |
