This tutorial provides information on what to do if you receive an invite from a friend to be a member of their HelpingHero team.
Receive an invite
If one of your friends or colleagues invites you to be a member of their HelpingHero team you will receive an email that looks somewhat like this.
It includes a message from the person who invited you, a bit about the team in question and also a link to accept the invite.
Click on the Invite Link
When you click on the link in the email you will be taken to a page that allows you to join the team.
There are three options at this point:
| 1. | Already registered: If you are already a member of HelpingHero you can simply use the left hand column. When you log in you will be redirected to the next page. |
| 2. | Never registered: If you have never registered on HelpingHero you can register now. Click on the Register Now button to register. When you have registered you will be redirected to the next page. |
| 3. | Refuse Invitation: If you do not want to be a member of this team you can simply select Refuse Invitation. |
You should see this page where you again have two options.
| 1. | Accept the invitation: Clicking on this link processes your acceptance to this team and you will be directed to the team home page. |
| 2. | Refuse Invitation: Even at this stage, if you do not want to be a member of this team you can simply select Refuse Invitation. |
