Supplier Organisations

Top  Previous  Next

Supplier organisations are organisations that wish to allow their staff to support volunteer organisations with their time and services.  Some organisations offer their staff paid leave or other benefits if they support volunteer organisations as part of the corporate social responsibility or community support program.  HelpingHero makes it easy for these organisations to track an manage the time and effort that their staff are investing in supporting volunteer organisations.

Supplier benefits of using HelpingHero

Companies can demonstrate commitment to their employees and broaden the scope for volunteers
Companies can lower the cost and risk of managing relationships with volunteer organisations
Companies can exercise central control over which Volunteer organisations are eligible for support from the company.
Day to day management of volunteering tasks is decentralised and managed by Volunteer organisations and company staff directly, minimising the organisational cost of management.
Companies can accurately report on the level of volunteering that staff provide to the community.
Companies can confidently remunerate staff for time spent on volunteer tasks based on a one on one confirmation of task completion by the Volunteer Organisation.

How it works

Companies can approve any number of volunteer organisations as accredited for staff to gain credit.

In the example below, Company X has approved Volunteer Org A and Volunteer Org B as organisations that the employees can gain credit for their volunteer work.  Volunteer Org  C is not approved.  Staff can join Volunteer Org A, B or C but will only receive company credit for A and B.

The volunteer organisations then manage the events and tasks that members (i.e. staff) perform.
