This page provides a range of information on the team and your involvement with the team. This area shows you the various team roles that you hold for this team.
The services I offer this team As a team member you can determine which service you would like to offer the team. You do not have to offer all services to each team. This area shows you the status of each service that you are offering. It also allows you to offer / withdraw your offer to provide a service.
Related Volunteer Organisation (Volunteer Teams only) Each Volunteer team can be associated with a Volunteer Organisation. This area indicates that status of a link (if any) to a volunteer organisation. Clicking on the link will give you some more information about the related volunteer organisation. If you are the Team Owner for this team then you will also see information related to applying to volunteer organisations or breaking the link with a volunteer organisation. This shows the other families that are also members of this team along with their current points value and the average rating for services that they have delivered and received.
Team Rules (Co-Operative Teams only) There are some rules that apply only to Co-operative team. They can be changed by majority vote of the team members at the My Team / Suggest Rule Changes menu item.
Performing a service earns your family Hero Points. Each service can earn a different number of Hero Points per hour. Many teams keep theses values at 1 hero point to 1 service point but if you wish you can vary this ratio by service type. Changing points by service type: Co-operative teams: If you want to change this value for your co-operative team you must use the My Team / Suggest Rule Changes link. There you will be able to suggest changes to the number of points per hour for different service types and then have those suggestions voted on by the other team members. When a majority of your team members vote for the change it will b accepted by the system. Volunteer Teams: To change the point per service type for volunteer teams you must be either a Team Owner or approved by the team owner to make the changes. If you have the authority to make the changes then you will see an "Edit" and "Add" link has been added to the data (see below). Selecting the "Edit" link allows you to change the ratio of points to Hero Points, Active Service status and also the "Approval Required" status of each service. De-selecting the "Active Service" status removes this service type from use by the team. These changes will be implemented immediately. Selecting the "Add" link allows you to add new service types to the team. This change will be implemented immediately.
Points - By day of week/time of day Your team also has the opportunity to vary the number of points that will be applied for different times of the day and days of the week. So for instance Friday nights may be worth more points than Monday afternoons. There you will be able to suggest changes to the number of points per hour then have those suggestions voted on by the other team members.
